  • This image shows a combination of interesting geological formations at Pothole Point in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, even the foreground was captured at night. The image is inviting viewers to take a moment to experience the 15 hour long photoshoot from setting up to breaking down to capture the path of the moon throughout the night along with showing the arch of the milkyway in the only way possible during a full moon (at totality of a lunar eclipse). The combination of the two arches leads the viewer's eye to explore the entire image.
