It's 5:00am at the base of Mount Feathertop in the alpine ranges of Victoria. We have about an hour of hiking ahead of us to catch the sunrise at the summit. As I stepped out of my tent, I noticed my hiking buddy is still getting ready and has his headlamp on inside his tent. The milky way sat perfectly behind his tent. With only a few minutes before he came out, I quickly set up my tripod and snapped this shot of his illuminated tent in front of the night sky. Then, we set off on our adventure.
