Aurora Borealis in Riga Old Town

• Connection to Category: Although the camera reveals the stunning colours of the aurora borealis above St Peter's Church in Riga, to the naked eye the colours and pillars of the aurora were impossible to see, overwhelmed by the light streaming into the sky from the Old Town. The city lights were so bright compared with the night sky it was necessary to capture a few 'darker' exposures to display the brightest parts of the photo.
